Engagement photos in South London
Neil and Abigail
Neil & Abigail wanted some engagement photos done prior to their North London wedding. Neil is a South London boy, living out in Croydon, but the wedding was to take place near Abigail’s family home in Edmonton. Bride and groom portraits were planned at Forty Hall. We met in Dulwich – convenient for me, as it’s just a quick bus from Camberwell where I lived. We shot a few photos at the old College Chapel and then in Dulwich Park, where the lovely S-shaped walkway across the lake makes a great spot for a portrait photographer.
Neil and Abigail have a lot of fun and chemistry about them – the pre-wedding shoot was easy! Ditto their wedding – with both English and Ghanaian wedding elements to the day, it was full-on, but glorious! I must get round to doing a full case study! As it is, I ended up writing an important blog post about my attempts to do justice to the two very different complexions involved. That piece has a good few photos from the wedding that followed this engagement.
