As a wedding photographer, I like photographing weddings which are just over the back fence! We had known Liam for some years and he had seen us work many times before. That doesn’t diminish how nice it is when you get asked to photograph a wedding, though! Always a privilege to help celebrate and capture the memories of a marriage, and we knew that this was going to be a great day.

We photographed from the bride’s preparations all the way through to the last dance and departure – a long day. However, for one of Sarah’s students, and as local as this to our Camberwell home, this was no hardship. The day was overcast but dry – perfect conditions for soft skin tones and nicely opened, non-squinting eyes.

Liam and Jo are a lovely – and good-looking – couple, and it was our privilege to photograph them on this most special of days. We wish them all the best in their life together. Liam is now the Salvation Army Officer in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
