Working for companies and organisations has always been a significant part of my work as a professional photographer.  From very small businesses to multinationals, from start-ups to well-known names, I have enjoyed the challenge of meeting clients and trying to achieve what they are looking for in my photographs. Often that has meant taking formal portraits – head-shots – of key staff members, but I have also been involved in a wide variety of other corporate photography.

I guess the bulk of my work for companies and organisations has had the website in view as the main end use, but I have also photographed material for brochures and posters. Many companies are hungry for a good body of material, especially head-shots of directors etc., to be drawn from when it comes to press releases and interviews where there may not be a professional photographer present. Newspapers and trade journals like to know they have an image that hasn’t been published elsewhere, so a photographer who is generous with their time and delivers plenty of good edits is worth their weight.

Most of my corporate photography work has been in London and the South East, but I am happy to travel further afield. I love working in industrial environments, and really enjoy capturing factory processes and machinery.  I am ready to take time to get the shot right, and to put people at their ease, but also know that photography for companies often needs to be done in tight time windows, and even more frequently with a very quick deadline for the edit. I am always prepared to work hard and late to get the shots in.

Occasionally I work in the studio to get the required results. I am a location photographer by instinct, and do not maintain my own studio, but am happy to hire a studio or work in your own studio facilities to get the shots you need.

Corporate work includes headshots, group shots, product shots, workshop and process shots and events, from launch parties to awards ceremonies. There is a great challenge and joy in the variety – I love it all!
